Dr. Peter Katris founded our practice over 30 years ago with a vision: to create a dental home where families could get everything they needed in one place. That vision has grown into two offices serving thousands of families across the western suburbs. We’re not a corporate chain that cycles through new faces every few months. We’re local dentists who chose to build our careers here, raise our families here, and take care of our neighbors here.

Dr. Katris founded Carol Stream & Elgin Dental Associates in 1992 with a vision of creating a multi-specialty practice that could serve families comprehensively. He excels in all phases of restorative and cosmetic care, from conservative composite bonding to implant-supported restorations and veneers. He stays cutting-edge by actively participating in advanced CAD/CAM dentistry, creating beautiful, strong porcelain onlays and crowns in a single visit.
In the community, Dr. Katris volunteers at the Marklund Wasmond Center in Elgin and leads the annual ADA Veterans’ Smile and Give Kids A Smile events at both offices.
Dr. Johnny Kuttab: Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist

Dr. Kuttab is a Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist who completed his residency at Northwestern University/Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. He’s a dad himself, and that shows in how he connects with young patients. His specialty is making children feel comfortable and even excited about visiting the dentist.
Dr. Rudolfo Valente: Board-Certified Orthodontist
Dr. Valente is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, which means he has achieved the highest level of certification in his field. He specializes in creating beautiful, straight smiles for children, teens, and adults using traditional braces and clear aligners.
Dr. Timothy Hang: General Dentist
Dr. Hang joined our practice in 2001 and is known for his calm, relaxed manner. He practices all phases of general dentistry with a special emphasis on aesthetics. He works by the Golden Rule: “To treat others as I would like to be treated.”
