Michael S. Slavin DDS

Dr. Slavin was born and raised in Chicago. Growing up as the last of six children he wanted to have a big family of his own. Now he has six children (four boys and two girls) and a labradoodle dog named Webster, and a cat named, Mister.
Our doctor chose dentistry (specifically periodontics) because it allowed him to use his creative and artistic abilities, as well as, scientific knowledge to solve patients healthcare needs. For him, the best part of his job is to be able to participate in the process of solving significant or complex oral health and medical issues.
Dr. Slavin’s main interests in dentistry are periodontics, dental implants, bone and soft tissue grafting. He is a board-certified periodontist and has been awarded the title of Top Periodontist in Chicago Magazine for the years of 2016, 2017, and 2018 through the votes of his peers.
Outside of the office, he enjoys to swim, bike, run and play tennis, also, to spend time with his children.

Rudolfo M. Valente DDS

Dr. Rudy Valente grew up in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago and currently lives in Park Ridge with his wife and two sons.
Dr. Valente’s interest in orthodontics began during his teenage years. His interest was sparked and he was motivated to choose the path of dentistry, as a close family friend was an orthodontist.
For him, one of the most fulfilling parts of being a dentist is creating beautiful smiles for his patients.
His passion for this field has led him to perform research with orthodontic bonding agents, which has been published in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.
In his free time, Dr. Valente enjoys spending time with his family, appreciating music, playing tennis, golf and practicing martial arts.

Johnny Kuttab DDS
Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist.

Growing up in Hoffman Estates, Dr. Kuttab completed his undergraduate and dental degrees at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). He graduated from dental school in 2008 and completed his residency at Northwestern University/Ann and Robert H Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago in 2010. A few years later, in 2012, he married his wife Vera, and they have two beautiful children, Annelise and Abraham.
Dr. Kuttab’s interest in dentistry began in the fourth grade when his family dentist allowed him to be of assistance during procedures when working on his mom. This gave him a real taste of helping people and being part of a dental team.
Since then, he has achieved his dream and now works as a pediatric dentist. For Dr. Kuttab, the best part of his profession is to have the ability to connect with children at a level that parents did not think was possible.
In his spare time, he spends time with his family and supports his children’s interest in ballet.

Jay Patel DDS
Orthodontist in Elgin, IL.
Dr. Patel’s journey began 8,676 miles away, in a city named Morogoro in Tanzania, a country located on the east coast of Africa. He later spent his pre-teen and early teen years in Ndola, Zambia, and then moved for his high school years to London, England.
His voyage to the United States took place years later in 1979, where he finished his undergraduate degrees in Chemistry and Physiology at Southern Illinois. After finishing school, he got married and has three wonderful children: Jason, Sarina, and Justin.
Dr. Patel chose dentistry because he wanted to have the ability to create beautiful and healthy smiles. He loves his profession, which he also describes as his passion. He completed his Doctorate in Dental Surgery at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois and his residency in Orthodontics at Indiana University. Since then, he continues to attend education courses in orthodontics to keep on top of the latest industry developments.
Outside of the office Dr. Patel enjoys to work out, travel, and participate in sports.
