Elvira Joined Carol Stream Dental Associates and Elgin Dental Associates in 1998.

Elvira feels the career of a Dental Assistant chose her. She started as a part time Dental Assistant and soon discovered she appreciated everything that the position and our offices had to offer. She feels our offices are "a great place to work in for those who like to continue learning and innovation. Our office is always looking for ways to improve and bring the best to our patients".

What she likes most about her position is the ability to see the changes our patients make to improve their oral health, thanks to all the education given from our dentist, hygienist, assistants and front desk. "We go out of our way to make sure our patients understand what is happening in their mouth and are able to make an educated decision about the treatment that is best for them". She loves working with our Pediatric Dentist and will always make it a priority for our little patients to have the best experience.

Elvira's goal as a Dental Assistant is to make all of our patients as comfortable as possible.

Elvira is CPR, OSHA and HIPPA certified. She also holds a Coronal Polishing and Sealants Certificate from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

In addition to being a Dental Assistant, Elvira holds positions as Dental Assistant's Manager and Inventory Manager.

Nisveta joined Carol Stream Dental Associates in 2004.

Nisveta chose the career of a Dental Assistant because she loves dentistry and being part of a team that can help patients keep their teeth healthy and continue to have a beautiful smile throughout their life. "I love working for Carol Stream Dental Associates, my team and our patients". Nisveta has a special talent for making crowns and recently became certified as a CAD/CAM Designer; "I love making crowns and being part of a team that creates beautiful smiles"

Nisveta's goal as a dental assistant is to make patients' appointments as easy and comfortable as possible .

Nisveta is CPR, OSHA and HIPPA certified. She is also certified as a CAD/CAM Designer.

 

Marcela Rivera, Dental Assistant Marcela Rivera, Dental Assistant

Marcela joined Carol Stream Dental Associates and Elgin Dental Associates in 2005.

Marcela decided to become a Dental Assistant because she loves seeing how dentistry can change a person's smile. What she likes most about her position is being able to work with our General dentists, Periodontist, Orthodontist, and Pediatric dentist, "I love to be able to learn new things every day. I also love working for Elgin and Carol Stream Dental Associates because they are a multi-specialty office that focuses on providing great customer service".

Marcela's goal as a dental assistant is to make patients' appointments comfortable and educate each patient in the importance of having healthy gums and teeth.

Marcela is CPR, OSHA and HIPPA certified. She also holds a Coronal Polishing and Sealants Certificate from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

 

Jackie Kostel, Dental Assistant

Jackie opted for a career as a dental assistant because when she was younger she always had great dental experiences and enjoyed getting her teeth cleaned. It soon became something she was passionate about and wanted to pursue. What she likes most about being a dental assistant is the satisfaction she feels when a patient who use to be terrified of the dentist or had bad dental issues in the past, leaves the dental chair after his/her appointment with confidence and a big smile. "As a dental assistant you can be part of a team that change people's lives and it's a great feeling, I also love working for such a successful, caring office. Everyone on staff is here to help out every step of the way."

Jackie's goals as a dental assistant are to always have a patient leave satisfied with the treatment they had done. "When they are in our chair it is my job to make them feel comfortable and make sure any questions don't go unanswered."
